首款埃博拉疫苗在欧盟获批上市
新华社布鲁塞尔11月13日电 欧盟委员会日前宣布，美国默沙东公司生产的埃博拉疫苗获得在欧盟上市许可，成为全球首款正式获批上市的埃博拉疫苗。
这款疫苗名为Ervebo，适用于18岁及以上人群。2014年至2016年西非三国埃博拉疫情末期，疫苗曾在几内亚进行临床试验，并证明免疫效果显著。自去年8月刚果（金）暴发新一轮埃博拉疫情以来，当地及邻国已有数十万人接种，有效阻止了疫情进一步蔓延。
这款疫苗主要对扎伊尔型埃博拉病毒的感染有预防效果，西非三国埃博拉疫情和刚果（金）的新一轮疫情均由该型病毒引起。
世界卫生组织数据显示，全球范围内还有7款埃博拉疫苗已进入临床试验阶段。今年9月，世卫组织宣布美国强生公司生产的另一款疫苗将从11月起在刚果（金）东部埃博拉疫情严重的省份试用。
据介绍，默沙东公司也已向美国食品和药物管理局递交上市申请，疫苗有望明年在美国获批上市。
